We ship anywhere within Canada. We do not offer international shipping as we can only ensure our seeds are non-invasive to Canada.

Unfortunately. we do not sell outside of Canada. We are committed to running our business as eco-conscious as possible and since we cannot guarantee that are seeds are not invasive outside of Canada we don't sell internationally.

If you live outside of Canada and want to buy seeded paper, we encourage you to research what kind of seeds the seeded paper uses.

Seeded paper is a special type of paper embedded with seeds.

The paper itself can be made from recycled materials, such as post-consumer waste or cotton fibers.

Ours is mainly from post-consumer waste such as used paper which comes from our customers such as yourself or from local small businesses in Ottawa.

While we can't promise the seeds will bloom every time, we have extensively designed and tested our paper to ensure they will most of the time especially when properly planted. And since they are embedded in 2 layers of paper to protect the seeds, they will only bloom when planted.

Our seeds are also non-GMO, non-invasive to Canada and are good for pollinators.

Yes you can! Our recommendation is to use a pen such as a ballpoint pen but try and avoid any pens with sharp tips that could rip the paper (even with multiple layers it can happen).

We wish we could have more sage advice. But alas, sometimes despite all the work we have done testing our seeds and that you have put into planting and taking care of your little seedlings, the seeds just don't take.

There could be a multitude of reasons, such as an unexpected frost, wildlife enjoying a 'seedy' snack or perhaps too much or too little water. But as Madame Leota from the Haunted Mansion said, "The only true failure is when you stop trying." So in that spirit we highly encourage you try again.
